Called as Pastor on December 27th, 2009. Currently is completing his Bachelors Degree in Theology from Liberty University, graduation date is May 2010. Plans are in order to attend Seminary for a Masters degree in Theology. Chip has been pastoring for 4 years, moving to Weatherford in the summer of 2009. He is married with three small children. His wife is a teacher & coach with Weatherford ISD. Chip enjoys reading, teaching, cooking, hanging out with his family, and in his spare time watching sports, especially any sport involving THE University of Texas A&M. (Whoop!)
Mickey Robinson - Worship Leader
I have been associated with CBC since June 2000. I have been an active member involved in Adult Sunday School, Men's ministry, children's ministry and every other type of ministry. (It’s a small church!) I became Worship leader June 2007. I have always loved music and finally allowed God to take control of the talent He has blessed me with. I am employed full time by the Weatherford Independent School District as a painter. I relish in serving the Lord with loving people of CBC. As Worship leader, I realize the importance of getting the people ready to receive the Word from God. In choosing the songs that God has put in my heart to share and be sang by the congregation creates a sweet spirit, His spirit, during worship time. I pray that lives are not only touched but are changed through His music. I am married to my wonderful wife, the children's minister, Geraldine for 22 years. I have one grown daughter, Kristin an 18 year old freshman at Weatherford College. My hobbies include: afternoon naps, the Dallas Cowboys, the 2005 National Champion Texas Longhorns, walking, reading, singing, EATING, and going to the heart doctor!! Living life and being thankful for every breath!
Geraldine Robinson - Children's Minister
Where do I start? I have no degree to speak of, only my faith walk experiencing all God has for me. I came to CBC in 2000. I became Children's minister in 2004...I think?? Time flies when you’re having fun. God has blessed me in so many ways as I have chosen to be obedient to His calling on my life. I could have never experienced His goodness, grace and mercy if I had continued on my own path. He has blessed me as I serve His children, teaching and training them up in His ways. Proverbs 22:6 has always been a special verse for me in training my own daughter and now all the ones He has given me here at CBC to teach. I was terrified in taking on this responsibility, but He always told me I wouldn't be alone. He is faithful and always keeps His promises to those who faithfully serve Him. I am and will always be grateful for the many ways He has blessed me and my family in the opportunities to serve Him and reach children for the Kingdom. My husband Mickey, of 22 years last May, my daughter, Kristin; 18, fill my home life with love, laughter, and never a dull moment. We enjoy Chinese food, watching THE DALLAS COWBOYS AND DALLAS MAVERICKS.I love to garden and see the wonderful things God has created and designed!!! I am very active and love being outdoors; swimming, camping, fishing, anything outdoors... especially campfires!!!
