Church Membership
How to become a member of Community Baptist Church
1. By Profession of Faith & Baptism
- Being a born again believer in Jesus Christ
- If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and you are willing to make a public confession of your faith and follow Him in “Believer’s Baptism”, then we will joyfully receive you into our church body.
2. By Letter
- If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and have experienced “Believer’s Baptism” and are a member of a Baptist church of like faith and doctrine, we will joyfully receive you into our family, by Church Letter.
- This means that transfer your church membership to our church. We will gladly take care of the details of transferring your membership letter.
3. By Statement
- If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, have experienced “Believer’s Baptism” by immersion, but your church membership records are not available, we will joyfully receive you into our family upon your statement of your salvation and baptism.
4. A Person from Another Faith/Denomination
- A person who is currently a member of another denomination, not of like faith, may request membership to this church if all of the following are met.
- Upon a person’s statement of a born again conversion, that is consistent with the teaching of this church.
- The person has been baptized according to the policies of this church
